Like many men in their late 30s, I have that stubborn central ring of belly flab. It’s not much, but it’s noticeable. I eat cleanly and sensibly, keeping caloric intake within reason. I am an active rock climber and regularly do 2+ hour climbing sessions 3+ days a week. All of this hasn’t done a thing for my gut however and I maintain a persistent body weight of around 210 lbs.
I recently ran across John Kiefer’s Dangerously Hardcore website and he often mentions the Carb Nite Solution for helping shed difficult body fat. Simply put, the system works by retraining your body to burn fat for energy rather than carbohydrates by limiting your daily carb intake to less than 30 g carbs / day. Then one day a week, from 5 pm to bedtime you can eat whatever carbs you like. I have read tons of positive feedback about the diet and have decided to give it a try.
Today is Day 1. Stay posted and we’ll see how this goes.

People so often try and steer their lives in a direction that they think is correct rather than relaxing and seeing where that life takes them. To do so, is to never understand flow or ultimately what life is.
Amazing & beautiful glass creations based on micro-organisms.
I love to watch Sasha climb. Her grace & confidence are inspiring.
